About the Developer

Jerome Henin, President and Founder

As the founder and owner of several companies involved in real estate development and sales, Jerome Henin counts more than 30 years’ experience in construction and development.

His diverse real estate experience, both nationally and internationally, brings a world of experience to each transaction and project. Mr. Henin’s background includes professional degree’s, corporate positions, as well as hands-on experience in both the European and American markets,  dealing in all facets of real estate and development, enduring successfully in both good and difficult times.

Mr. Henin has focused on projects in Orlando and the surrounding area since 1993.

A native of France, Henin started his property development company in the United States, IPI of Central Florida, to develop residential subdivisions and light commercial projects.  IPI, now operating as Henin International Services, has evolved and expanded its services into advising European investors on their ventures into the American market.  Henin remains involved in all facets of the local real estate industry through his various companies, currently operating under the Henin Group;  Henin Homes, the subsidiary which builds custom and production homes; and Henin Realty, dedicated to real estate sales and property management. Jerome Henin is very adept at multi-tasking. “I am doing everything in real estate from concept to design to construction, financing and sales,” he says.

Currently, one of Henin’s largest developments in Florida is Riviera Bella, a 306-acre community located in Debary on the St. John’s River. The 700+ homesite project includes various home styles that range in prices from the low $200,000 to custom homes up to $2 million.  As the predominant developer in West Volusia for over a decade, his concept for Riviera Bella brought a luxurious, high-end product previously unavailable in DeBary or West Volusia. Taking advantage of the natural resources, Jerome Henin designed a community that is now sought after and offers high-quality homes and luxury amenities, with a European-inspired product designed for the American way of life. This is evident in Henin Homes’ custom homes as well as its production homes.

“I want every home I build to look like a custom home, even though it may be in the production line. It is an extra expense, but it creates so much more value.” Tile roofs, brick pavers and architectural arches & niches are standard features in his homes. “Custom features do not have to cost a lot,” insists Henin. “The choice of colors, for instance, is just a decorative item, but it can make a big difference.”

Henin is currently developing other projects:  In Debary, Springview Woods, a 64 acres project for 195 single-family homesites; and in Sanford, a 160 townhome project on 18 acres near the historic River Walk.
